Famous koteswar temple is only 4 km from narayan sarovar. Nararayan Sarovar is one of the five sacred lakes. This is also mentioned in Shrimad Bhagvad Puran. Water of lake is filled with holy River Saraswati. During holy month chaitra and kartik, people across the india came here for funeral ceremonies on the bank of Narayana Sarovar.
